Clint Eastwood: He Rocks at Commercials Too

Watch here!
Well most of us sat down and watched the game on Sunday (by the way great game congrats New York for surprising me once again) and many of us noticed a commercial done by Clint Eastwood during halftime. First off let me say, this guy can do it all. He’s a great actor, he is an awesome director and now he just blew my mind with how good and powerful a commercial can be. Yet I here so many people saying they didn’t like this commercial, in fact Fox said it was their viewer’s least favorite commercial of the Super Bowl. Why? I don’t get it. Did they assume that Clint Eastwood is a liberal and therefore rooting for Obama? Well let me just point out he is actually a Conservative (a libertarian to be exact). So what is it? I loved the commercial. It caught my attention in a way that a commercial never has and just plain blew my mind. It’s simple yet powerful and speaks of a hope for this country to right itself and move on from these hard times. In a world where there seems to be little good news on the horizon I always welcome a uplifting story and I think Detroit is very much on it’s way too being one of those stories. Unlike the commercial implies I think the end of this is still far out there for Detroit and who knows maybe Detroit will never be the same, but I hope and pray that Chrysler is right and that we can all pull through this to find better times.
Tell me your opinion good bad or ugly on this ad in the poll question. I’m really curious to here all your answers.
