Well Santorum has finally raced all the way to number one in recent polls. A poll last week showed Santorum leading Mitt Romney by a good 12% in popularity and as with all the other candidates that have edged past Romney the guns have come out blazing from both the left and the Romney camp. The problem has become where you attack a guy like Santorum. I mean the guy is spotless. He has a great voting record, he is a true conservative, and he is likable and tells the truth. So where do attack a guy like him?
I know! Attack his faith and beliefs!!!
Well at least that’s what the liberals and the insane feminists seem to think. Seriously what has this country come too? The left dug up Santorum saying this in 2006….
They have spun those comments into all kinds of insinuations. They have said he wants to outlaw contraceptives (really???), he should lose the female vote, and all kinds of crazy things… I mean is this what our country has come too? Do we really want to attack someone’s religion? I mean just because he’s catholic we can’t vote for him!!!!!!
Is this the 50’s and 60’s all over again where people say guys like JFK can’t be elected because of their choice of religion????? Have we really regressed this much?
People we have to stand against this, because it is absolutely insane. If we allow the media and the left to continue to spin this as they have, pretty soon we are going to have a whole ton of sex crazed college kids going “we can’t vote for Santorum, he’s going to get rid of condoms and birth control” and then what? We have Romney running against Obama and Obama probably wins. We can’t let that happen, for once we actually have a good guy, who is also a good conservative running. Let’s not let him slip away.
